How To Make Fried Chicken Recipe(Fried Chicken Recipe)




Ingredients:

*1 good chicken,cut into serving pieces, or use 8 to 10 leg pieces (drumsticks and thighs), trimmed of excess fat.
* salt and pepper
* oil,for deep frying
* 1 cup flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 cup of milk.
* 1 medium egg, beaten.

How To Make:

In plastic bag, combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.Add the milk and egg gradually to form the batter. Shake chicken the flour mixture until well-coated. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. Put 1 1/2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet; heat to medium high, . Place chicken in hot oil.WHEN oil is hot raise heat to high. Slowly add chicken pieces to skillet. Cover skillet, reduce heat to medium (more or less - oil should sizzle but not smoke) and cook for 7 minutes. When chicken pieces are hot and browning well, lower heat to medium low. Continue cooking for 8 to 12 minutes on each side or until well-browned ,REMOVE chicken from skillet and drain on paper towels placed on newspaper .ready to serve
